POWER KIDS
All children at New Hope are Power Kids. God has a powerful message for people of all ages. Instructing our children in these spiritual goals is our heart's mission. No matter what situation you or your family are in, you desire a successful life, a purpose-filled life and a full life for your child. You want life to be better for them than it was for you. We want to partner with you and your family in finding the answers you seek, the hope you need and the real joy of growing with God.
Missions
We believe that God has given us a calling to minister the love and good news of Jesus Christ to those in our community, and beyond through missions.
Discipleship Classes
One of the most important responsibilities of the church is to make sure the gospel, the Good News of God’s Kingdom, is spread to all mankind. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20:
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age.” Amen.
New Hope Church offers discipleship classes to those who want to approach God more closely through faith in Jesus Christ. The “Road to Discipleship” is a 21-week course including Bible reading and personal reflection and evaluation. You and your coach will bond in friendship as you share and learn together.
Class times and places are at the discretion of the participants and are ongoing 52 weeks of the year. Contact us to learn more.
Life Groups
Life Groups are the perfect venue to cultivate friendships at New Hope Church and to invite your friends and neighbors to attend an informal Bible Study in comfortable surroundings. Various locations and times are offered during the spring groups (March – May) and the fall groups (September – November). These groups are small enough to grow friendships and large enough to not become stagnant. Contact us today to learn where there’s a Life Group near you.
Membership Classes
Class 101 gives an inside look of who New Hope Church is and what we believe. Pastor Randy shares the beginnings of this church and how we got to where we are today. During this time Pastor Randy will share his vision for New Hope and what the essential beliefs are. A portion of the time will deal with why each believer should become a member in a local church and how God uses the local church to equip and help us grow.
After taking Class 101 it is vitally important to learn how to develop the habits necessary to grow spiritually. In Class 201 Pastor Randy will explain the Four Habits for Spiritual Maturity that are needed to grow in your spiritual walk.
In Class 301 Pastor Randy explains how God has given each one of us a special S.H.A.P.E. This SHAPE is your unique Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences which determine the ministry God has designed especially for you. By the time you leave this class you will have a greater understanding of yourself and others in relation to ministry.
Levite Ministry
The Levites were the tribe of Israelites descended from Levi, one of the twelve sons of Jacob. Some Levites were priests, ministering in the tabernacle. Those who were not priests were given various duties in the caretaking of the tabernacle and its furnishings. The Levite Ministry at New Hope was born from this example of keeping God’s house clean and well tended. Volunteers who have a heart to minister to the Lord in this way are a blessing to the church.
Eagle Ministry
The Eagle Ministry burns the Pastor’s message each Sunday on a CD, which is available – free of charge – immediately after service. These CDs are available at various businesses around Charlotte – also free of charge. The CDs are also mailed upon request – free. For more information or to have a CD mailed to you, please contact the church office (517) 543-8603.
